Title of the workshop: Publishing Well: Is there a Silver Bullet?
Total 27 participants have attained the research workshop and learn the tricks to publish in good quality journals. Prof. Roy explained the equation Publish and Prosper (PAP) ideology. , elaborated about the strategies which could be adopted by early researchers and mature researchers to excel at research, he laid stress on the reasons for desk rejections and the ways to overcome them.
Post-workshop, all the participants have visited Modhera-Sun Temple and mesmerizes the beauty of temple.

The 12th International Conference on Perspectives, Practices & Research Trends, GCeMP 2k20 was Organized at Faculty of Management Studies, Ganpat University on 25th Jan, 2020 which witnessed eminent scholars from India and across world discussing contemporary issues on the theme Business Management and Innovation. The conference was inaugurated on January 25, 2020 by Shri Ganpat I. Patel, Patron-in-chief & President of Ganpat University, Dr. Prashant Mishra, IIM Calcutta, Dr. A. K. Jain, Professor, MDI, Gurgaon, Visiting Faculty, Aarhus University, Denmark, Dr. Mahendra Sharma, Pro Chancellor & director General of Ganpat University, Dr. Sourbhi Chaturvedi, Dean, Faculty of Management Studies and Dr. Hiren J. Patel,, Associate Dean, Faculty of Management Studies. Samshipti -the abstracts compilation was unveiled by the dignitaries on the dias.
Padmashree award winner Shri Ganpatbhai Patel, Ganpat University, Hon. President and Patron in chief also shared valuable insights on the theme innovation and talked about how fear can act as a barrier in the process of innovation and being unfearful is so essential for innovation.
The first Keynote address was delivered by Dr. Prashant Mishra, Professor, IIM Calcutta on Digital Marketing Phenomenon: Are We Asking Right Questions?, followed by second Keynote address by Dr. Ajay K. Jain, Professor, MDI Gurgaon on Employee Silence: Inhibiting Productivity to Innovation
This premier academic event was buzzing with learning and networking as it provided an opportunity for all to network, share ideas and present their research to a worldwide community. The conference had received an overwhelming response from India and across the globe specifically from Italy. UAE and Mexico. Out of total 57 abstracts, 43 full papers were received. Total 38 presentations was made in six parallel tracks.
The scholars presented research papers and took part in the deliberations on sub theme Marketing Management & innovation, Innovation in workplace, Managing Finance & innovation, Business Ecosystems & operational in front of the Judges namely Dr. Naresh Patel, Dean, Dharmsinh Desai University, Nadiad, Dr. Narayan C. Baser, Associate Professor, School of Petroleum Management, Pandit Deen Dayal Petroleum University, Dr. Subrat Sahoo, Director - Accreditation, Assessment & Ranking and Professor, Ganpat University, Dr. Ajay K. Jain, Professor MDI Gurgaon, Visiting Faculty, Aarhus University, Denmark.
1st Prize in the Best Research Paper Category was bagged by Dr. Vipul Patel for his paper “Impact of Quality of unfamiliar shopping App on perceived Trust: Moderating role of risk attitude”
2nd Prize in the Best Research Paper Category was bagged by Dr. Tirthank Shah and Dr. Abhishek Parikh for their paper “Market cap Diversity and Performance of Risk based Asset allocation Strategies: Evidences from India, China and USA”
3rd Prize in the Best Research Paper Category was secured by Dr Ashwin Modi, Dr. Jayesh Patel. Dr. Nimesh Bhojak and Dr. Dipesh Dasani for their paper “Measuring Patient Satisfaction in emergency department: An empirical test using SEM”
4th Prize in the Best Research Paper Category was secured by Ms. Richa Sreevastava, Mr. Ashwin Jadeja and Dr. Mamta Brahmbhatt for their paper “Insured through office to Insurtech: Measuring customer experience in India”
5th Prize in the Best Research Paper Category was bagged by Prof. Chainmay Baxi, Dr. Jayesh Patel and Dr. Kiran Patel for their paper “Integrated Model for consumer Behaviour on E Wallet adoption”
