“Protsahan 12-13” – A management cum cultural fest was organized for the fifth consecutive time on 12th &13th October 2012 at a National Level by V.M.Patel Institute of management and Centre for Management studies, constituent Colleges of Ganpat University, to give a platform for healthy competition among management students for improvising excellence and knowledge. The event gave a chance to the management students to showcase their personality, presentation skills, communication skills and clarity of management concepts. It provided them a platform to bring out and synergize their management talent with other students of premier institutions. This time also Protsahan was jointly held with Pratibha-2012 (National Level Summer Project Competition) as a custom.

Both the events were successfully completed under the guidance & stewardship of Dr. Mahendra Sharma, Pro – Vice Chancellor (Academics) & convener of the event. . Faculty coordinators for the event Protsahan 2012-13 were Ms. Mitali Baruah and Mr. Abhishek Parikh. The co- coordinators were Ms Rachita Jaswal, Ms. Poooja Thakkar and Ms. Nikita Patel. The event was supported by a very able advisory committee.  

The response was overwhelming. The events had participants exceeding 1200 entries from more than 60 B- schools. The event had participation from premier institutions like B. Nine games of Protsahan were sponsored by different renowned corporate. Plan the negotios- the B plan was sponsored by KTM stores. Astitva-the game of team building was sponsored by Bajaj Alliance. The stock market game Money Matrix was sponsored by the Arman Financial Services Ltd. Steel- all male sponsored the Product launch game Prarnbh, Landmark Honda sponsored our Business quiz event. Not only the formal events but even the informal games were sponsored by known business houses. The stage performance event Rhythm Ratzz was sponsored by Amul- the taste of India. Bollyworm the Bollywood quiz was sponsored by Cinepolis, India. Treasure Hunt was sponsored by the Bank of Baroda and the game Rangoli was sponsored by The Honda. Besides that also we had a lot of organizations supporting our event like the Asian Tiles World, Gelco, Airtel, Avadhoot Construction Co.Bajaj and Chokhidhani.

The inaugural function was privileged to have esteemed chief Guest Mr. Shivrambhai Patel, Chairman, Shivam Group of Companies, Guest of Honor Shri Vasant Raval, Director, Sardar Sarovar Narmada Nigam Limited. The President of Ganpat University Shri AnilBhai Patel also spared time from his busy schedule to provide morale booster for the forthcoming generation of future managers. Dr. L. N. Patel, Vice Chancellor of Ganpat University and Dr Mahendra Sharma Pro – Vice Chancellor (Academics) & convener for the events graced the occasion by their scintillating & motivational speech.

V.M Patel Institute of Management, Ganpat University, grabbed the maximum no of prizes. Moreover they won the prize for the maximum no of participations also.

The event provided a gala time for the participating B- School teams.
