Dr. Jayesh D. Patel

General Information

Jayesh D. Patel, PhD is an Associate Professor in V. M. Patel Institute of Management, MBA Department, Ganpat University, Gujarat, India. His doctoral research investigates the influence of consumers’ self-identity and environmental concern on theory of planned behaviour variables in formation of purchase intention for green products in India. Recently, he has received Ganpat University President Award of Staff Excellence" in Research for the year 2019. He is a recipient of “Journal of Service Management- 2015 Highly Commended Award” by Emerald Litereti Network and “Best Research Paper Award” in the “8th IEF” at MICA, Ahmedabad. He has published research papers in the Marketing Intelligence and Planning, Journal of Retailing and Consumer Services, Journal of Indian Business Research, Int. J. of Management and Enterprise Development, Asian J. of Business Ethics, Int. J. Technoentrepreneurship, Int. J. of Business and Emerging Markets and many more. Five of his cases have also been accepted in The Case Centre (formerly known as European Case Clearing House- ECCH). He is an ad hoc reviewer for Journal of Business Research, Marketing Intelligence and Planning, International Journal of Emerging Markets, and Asia Pacific Journal of Marketing & Logistics.
